Krafton has expanded its India-focused incubator to more regions in the country and introduced strategic partners in its second cohort.
As reported by Money Control, the Krafton India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) now includes six startups from emerging gaming hubs like Kolkata, Mumbai and Madurai among others.
Over the next six to 12 months, all six developers will receive tailored mentorship in game development, design, marketing, and business strategy.
They will also receive financial support ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 and gain access to Krafton’s internal resources, including data analytics and market research.
Startups and projects
The second cohort includes Madurai-based Kleanup Games, which is currently developing Chromadi, a retro arcade shoot-’em-up with color-mixing mechanics, set for release in 2026.
Advaita Interactive is working on Inspectorium, a steampunk-inspired detective game set in Victorian Kolkata, expected on mobile, PC, and VR in 2025 and 2026.
Moreover, Bengaluru’s Smash Head Studio is creating Cricket Rivals, a fast-paced multiplayer mobile game that reimagines cricket, with quick competitive matches.
Mumbai-based indie studio Singular Scheme, is working on Frontier Paladin for PC. Hyderabad-based Unwind Games is creating BaoBao’s Journey, a casual puzzle game.
Lastly, New Delhi’s Ginger Games is developing Monkey Mayhem, a hybridcasual action-adventure mobile title with a 2026 release planned.
