Skylight has announced a third version of its Wi-Fi-connected touchscreen smart calendars, which are designed to keep track of the entire family’s activities. The 27-inch Skylight Calendar Max joins the company’s existing 10- and 15-inch (diagonal) interactive displays.
Like its smaller stablemates, the Skylight Calendar Max can keep track of appointments, to-do lists, chore charts, meal planning, shopping lists, and more. Each family member can be assigned a color to make it easier for everyone to plan their day, week, and month. Items can be added via the touchscreen user interface and virtual keyboard, with the companion app, or in sync with online apps such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and Yahoo.

The anti-glare display features interchangeable frames with rounded corners, with a floating mount that allows it to be installed in either landscape or portrait mode. The display also shows the current date and time as well as weather conditions, including forecasts for the dates and locations of events.
Users can tap their name to see their own upcoming events, while a chore-list view displays the week’s household tasks and who’s assigned to them. Users can place a checkmark next to each chore after it’s been completed.
With an optional subscription, the Skylight Calendar Max can also be used as a large digital picture frame that displays the photos you upload with its app. The $39-per-year subscription also enables you to forward emails and PDFs related to events that will be converted to calendar appointments.
The 27-inch Skylight Calendar Max is available for pre-order now for $599, with delivery expected in the spring.
