Marvel Snap developer Second Dinner has secured Skystone Games as its new US-based publisher for the superhero card game following a temporary ban last week.
Marvel Snap went offline in the US alongside the temporary TikTok ban, due to current publisher Nuverse being owned by TikTok parent ByteDance.
With TikTok’s future in the US remaining tenuous, Second Dinner confirmed that Marvel Snap would “partner with a new publisher” to avoid the risk of this happening again.

The temporary removal of Marvel Snap was unexpected collateral damage of the TikTok ban, something which also affected Moonton’s Mobile Legends.
Second Dinner released a public statement noting its “surprise” at the time, and though Marvel Snap has been functional again since – as has TikTok, thanks to US president Donald Trump’s executive order – Second Dinner stated its intention to find a new publisher.
This search has already proven successful, with Tyrant’s Realm publisher and California-based Skystone Games now set to take on publishing duties for the highly prolific card game. At the same time, Second Dinner will also take on more of its own responsibilities in-house.
“Thank you for your incredible support and patience during the recent outage in the United States. Now that we’re available for download on mobile app stores again, we’re excited to share some news about the future of Marvel Snap,” Second Dinner posted on Twitter.
“To ensure this never happens again, and with the help of our current publisher Nuverse (thank you!), we’ve already signed agreements and started the work to bring almost all operational and publishing responsibilities in-house at Second Dinner with support from a new US-based publisher, Skystone Games.
“This has been a full-team effort between Second Dinner, Nuverse, Skystone and Marvel. Thank you again for all of your support – we’re excited about what’s ahead for Marvel Snap.”
