Marvel’s Blade, the next project from Arkane Lyon, is likely going to be an Xbox-exclusive title, despite exclusivity not having been discussed during its reveal.
As spotted today by Idle Sloth on X/Twitter, the announcement trailer was uploaded on the Xbox YouTube channel, complete with the Xbox splash screen at the end, which suggests how the game will only be available on Microsoft’s consoles, as well as on PC.

Not very much is known about Marvel’s Blade, but the first details suggest it will be a step in a slightly different direction for Arkane Lyon, as the game will come with a third-person view. In other regards, the game will fit perfectly in the studio’s tradition with its open-ended experience that will see the titular character hunt down vampires in a walled-in version of Paris. The Arkane touch fits Blade like his trademark trench coat. It’s a mature action-adventure game, single-player, where you get to play as Blade your way. For True Believers, it’s a dream come true,” said Marvel Games creative director Bill Rosemann following the game’s announcement.
Marvel’s Blade launches on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for the latest news.
