Midnight Suns features plenty of side activities to keep players entertained alongside the main story missions, which can be tackled while exploring The Abbey grounds. One of them is the Unknown Grave mystery, a quest that helps unravel The Hunter’s past and involves finding some handmade dolls scattered around the map.

The Unknown Grave location
To start this side quest in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you need to go east of The Abbey and reach Dreamer’s Descent. You can access this area only if you have already unlocked the first Word of Power, “Open,” as you will use it to open the gate you find while following the path.
Once you come across the Unknown Grave, a cutscene will play, and the quest will start. You can inspect the handmade doll you find on the gravestone to learn more details about it. To complete the mystery, you must find and collect three other dolls while exploring The Abbey grounds. Where are they located? You will find all the relevant details below.
Handmade Doll locations in Midnight Suns
After you find the Handmade Father Doll at the Unknown Grave, you need to find three other dolls and collect them to solve the mystery. The exact location for each one is described here, and you can also help yourself with the map.
Handmade Caretaker Doll
If you head north of the Unknown Grave, you will soon find a wooden bridge that leads to a small hidden area. You will notice an arcane chest on the left, but if you proceed to the right, you will find the Handmade Doll on a table.
Handmade Hunter Doll
This doll can be found not too far from Dreamer’s Descent. From the grave, follow the trail that leads southeast, and you will come across an area with a blue torch lighting the path. The Handmade Hunter Doll is at the end of the route, on the table between the two torches. On the left, you will also find an arcane chest.
Handmade Lilith Doll
This doll is located northeast of Dreamer’s Descent, near the Standing Stones. To reach this area, head back to the Unknown Grave and follow the east path. Follow the red torches and turn right before reaching the Standing Stones. You will notice two blue torches. There, you will also find the remaining doll.
How to solve the Unknown Grave Mystery
Once you have collected all the handmade dolls in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, bring them back to the Unknown Grave at Dreamer’s Descent. When prompted to do so, place them on the gravestone. This will trigger a small cutscene, and at the end of it, you will notice that the Caretaker has reached your location. Talk to her to complete this side quest. An epic arcane chest will spawn nearby as a reward.
