Games developer and publisher Maysalward collaborated with game-based learning platform Minecraft Education to host the first-ever Minecraft Teachers Training workshop from, running on two days, July 23rd to 24th 2024.
The workshop took place at the company’s Jordan Gaming Lab, “a free-to-access facility equipped with tools and trainers” to support students and other gaming enthusiasts.
This new workshop trains teachers to integrate Minecraft Education into their classrooms, setting the stage for future nationwide training initiatives.
Empowering teachers
“The first workshop helped educators learn how to use the Minecraft Education Platform and game-based learning in their classrooms,” said Nour Khrais, CEO of Maysalward and chairman of the Jordan Gaming Task Force who took to LinkedIn to share the news.
“We are committed, with support from the Microsoft Minecraft team, to ongoing support and work on teachers professional development, allowing teachers to create engaging learning experiences for students.”
