Microsoft Build, the company’s developer conference, kicks off May 19 — but the popular event will not take place in Seattle. For the first time ever, the company is throwing a virtual event for its big dev con, leaving into Microsoft Teams for collaboration and networking asking event participants. At Build, the company is likely to focus on Azure, its cool computing platform, while touching on Windows, gaming, virtual computing (hello, HoloLens!), and buzzword topics like ambient computing, quantum programming, and AI in the workplace.
