PC case manufacturer MonsterLabo is bringing another unique PC chassis to the market. Their latest creation, The Beast, is an interesting find for anyone looking to build a gaming PC,las it comes packing zero fans. It won’t require any, either, to do some serious cooling.
The Beast is comprised of glass and 6 mm thick aluminum with a front panel that includes MonsterLabo’s logo. Inside, it comes with ten 6 mm copper heat pipes that connect to two 3 KG aluminum heatsinks. These are mounted inside the case for a connection to the CPU and GPU. The system can run completely fanless for systems rated less than 300 watts of thermal design power (TDP).
While it doesn’t necessarily require fans, it can still support them. Builders can augment its already stalwart cooling power with two 140 mm fans if need be. The way the case is set up, however, it’s rated to cool even the upcoming Nvidia RTX 30 series if you managed to snag one of the elusive cards.
The case itself is compatible with a range of motherboard sizes from Mini-ITX to ATX. In terms of graphics cards, it can support lengths up to 290 mm with space for four 3.5″ drives or eight 2.5″ SSDs. In terms of connections, the case includes two USB 2.0 pots, one USB Type-C port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
If The Beast is something that strikes your fancy, preorders are set to begin on Oct. 9 and will run through Dec. 31. Unfortunately, there’s no set release date or pricing information out in the wild just yet. The official MonsterLabo listing for The Beast mentions that delivery for the first batch is scheduled for Q1 2021, with units in stock in Q2 2021.
