Angela Game has released the 1.0 launch trailer for Myth of Empires, the multiplayer war sandbox game slated to go live in a couple of weeks on Steam.
The trailer focuses on showing off the new Dongzhou map, which includes biomes as varied as bamboo forests, ice lands, sandy shores, volcanoes, and more.
Myth of Empires 1.0 also adds many new features and content:
- Soaring gliders
- Climbing tools to scale towering walls
- Rafts
- Warships
- Giant sky lanterns
- Playable musical instruments, including the guqin, the pan flute, the pipa, and more
- Horse racing mode
- New ways of taming animals (which now have new attributes that can be inherited and strengthened through breeding)
- New defensive structures and automated mechanical collection tools
- Simulated sieges and challenges on the three major battlefields (County Battles, Fortress Battles, and Prefecture Battles) that will allow PvE players to experience the game’s large-scale combat against NPCs and provide PvP players a chance to hone their strategic abilities.

Last but not least, the final part of the Myth of Empires trailer teased new civilizations, such as Egypt, Greece, and Arabia.
As a reminder, Myth of Empires is just now returning to Steam after the lengthy legal dispute with Studio Wildcard, which ended up with the latter becoming the game’s publisher. Console versions have been announced, too, but there’s no release date for them yet. On PC, the game launches on February 21.
