We still don’t know exactly when the iPad Air will go on sale, but we do now know how much RAM is included inside.
Apple has not officially announced how much RAM is inside the fourth generation iPad Air, but MacRumors has noticed that it has 4GB RAM, compared to 3GB in its predecessor.
MacRumors noticed the amount of RAM in the memory information section of the A14 benchmarks that leaked this weekend.
One of the advantages of more RAM is that you can do more things at the same time. It is also very useful for games and other demanding apps.
There is 6GB RAM in the latest models of iPad Pro, but historically, Apple doesn’t insert more memory than absolutely necessary in its iPads.
We also know that the A14 chip in the iPad Air is impressive thanks to the A14 benchmarks that leaked over the weekend.
