A new trailer for MultiVersus has been released, showcasing some of the content that players can expect from Season 4. Warner Bros. Games has announced that DC’s Raven and Adventure Time’s Marceline will join the expanding roster of MultiVersus as part of the upcoming season, Season 4: Midnight Misfits. This season will begin on November 12 and run through January 21. Raven, one of the most iconic characters in the Teen Titans, will be available at the start of the season, allowing players to get their hands on the new character on November 12. For those who are waiting for Marceline, you’ll unfortunately have to wait a bit longer, as her release is due a little bit later in the season.
The trailer is just over a minute long, but showcases Raven’s gameplay in MultiVersus, which shows off her abilities as a Mage. She is able to use dark magic and telekinesis to manipulate and attack her enemies while also getting to work in conjunction with her pet bird, Lenore, who can provide assistance in certain attacks and extend Raven’s attack combos. For those who are interested in the cosmetic side of things, the video also showcases some of the upcoming skins and variants in the game, including White Raven, Rule Breaker Raven, and Trigon Possessed Superman.
This season is also a relatively important one in the grand scheme of things, as it is adding a new game mode to MultiVersus, where players will be able to participate in the newly added Arena. This is a game mode that allows eight teams of two players to go against each other in round-based matches to try and earn in-game rewards. In addition, this season will see the addition of the Back to the Past map, which is heavily inspired by the Samurai Jack series. The map will be available on November 12.
For Adventure Time fans, the Candy Tavern map will also be added to MultiVersus this season, but it will come at a later date. However, there is a lot to look forward to in this new season, including the addition of Ugly Sweater cosmetics if you want to give your favorite fighters a cozy feeling as we approach the Winter months and the festive season.
