The new Pokemon Trading Card Game set, Surging Sparks, launched today, November 8. Not only are several new boosters, decks, and boxes available, but Best Buy has a special offer that gets you two Pokemon Horizons promo cards–Terapagos and Fuecoco–when you spend $15 or more on Pokemon TCG. All Pokemon TCG products are eligible for this promotion, not just the new Surging Sparks releases, including preorders for upcoming releases. We recommend pouncing on this deal while you can since it’s likely these promo cards will disappear fast.
Best Buy has over 30 Pokemon TCG products priced $15 or higher, but you could also buy several lower-priced items that add up to $15. For instance, you could get the Surging Sparks 3-Pack Booster Bundle for $14 and a single Sleeved Booster for $4.49. Surging Sparks Sleeved Boosters at $4.49/each to get the promo cards, too. The two-pack of promo cards will automatically be added to your cart while supplies list.
These promotional versions of Fuecoco and Terapagos are themed around Pokemon Horizons, the anime series that debuted on Netflix earlier this year. Season 1’s fourth and final batch of episodes will be added to Netflix on November 22. Outside of the Pokemon Horizons logo, these promo cards are the same as the original versions.
As for the Surging Sparks set, the first wave of releases are available now and includes an all-new $50 Elite Trainer Box that comes with a full-art foil Magneton card, nine Surging Sparks booster packs, 45 energy cards, and a bunch of gameplay materials like a coin, damage counters, card sleeve, and more. You can also pick up Surging Sparks boosters in single, three-pack, and six-pack bundles.
