The Fold 5 is not a device you buy for the specs though. It’s the form factor and the user interface that make using it an altogether different experience compared to conventional phones.
The device has a sturdy hinge that lets you position it at different angles. You can even use it in a laptop orientation and type out documents while in your car or on a flight.
To go a step further, you can wirelessly connect it to a keyboard and a monitor for a desktop-like experience. It’s only when you discover the true potential of the Fold 5 that you realize that it’s worth its price tag.
But that realization doesn’t make money magically appear in your pocket. So if you really want to get the Fold 5, Amazon has knocked $300 off its price. Admittedly, that still doesn’t make it affordable, but for a device that’s not only great as a smartphone but can also transform into a tablet and a laptop, the price is justified.
