Finnish start-up Quicksave Interactive has launched QSApp to revive the interactive spirit of the internet’s golden age.
Inspired by the immersive experiences of Flash-era websites, QSApp aims to help businesses stand out by turning static websites into dynamic and engaging experiences.
Quicksave’s no-code solution is tailored towards artists, designers, developers, and business owners. Users can use the tools to create web experiences with a single line of code and publish standalone web content.
From game UI to web Innovation
The company said that the rise of browser power and technologies like WebGL promised native-level, high-performance web content but remained underutilised due to technical barriers and limitations of traditional tools.
Recognising this gap, industry experts Elina Arponen, Timo Kämäräinen, and Ville-Kalle Arponen founded Quicksave in 2017 and developed their own solution to create user interfaces for games. This internal tool evolved into the Quicksave Toolkit, an HTML5 WebGL suite featuring a UI Editor and Machine Editor.
“We have been licensing the Quicksave Toolkit for the development of HTML5 games,” said Quicksave CEO Elina Arponen.
“However, now with QSApp, we are taking that power of creating interactive web content one crucial step further. I am so excited we can bring this spark of creativity into any web page out there.”
