Today, Inflexion Games released a new game overview trailer showcasing the Nightingale: Realms Rebuilt update for the gaslamp-fantasy PVE survival-crafting game. So far, Realms Rebuilt is the biggest update for Nightingale since its release in February 2024. Although the “all reviews” section for the game is tagged as Mixed, recent reviews are Mostly Positive, suggesting good things for those who have begun experimenting with the Realms Rebuilt update.
The Nightingale: Realms Rebuilt update adds a new handcrafted campaign that sends players exploring gravity-torn deserts, corrupted forests and much more, as well as overhauling the crafting and progression system after listening to player feedback. To add more excitement to the game, new dungeons and boss battles have been added, as well as new weapons for players to experiment with and new challenges to overcome.
With the release of this update, Nightingale is currently 40% off on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is still in Early Access on PC, suggesting there is plenty more to come to make Nightingale a fully-fledged product.
“The Realms Rebuilt update is the culmination of all the invaluable feedback we’ve received from the community over the last several months of Early Access,” says Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games. “We hope that it feels like a whole new Nightingale journey, improved and more immersive, whilst retaining the core elements that the community loves about adventuring through the realms.”
To give the game more substance, the Nightingale: Realms Rebuilt update includes a new parametric crafting system so that players can maximize the potential of their equipment, new dungeons and bosses so that players can test and experiment with their Realmwalker skills, as well as an expansive campaign. As explained above, the campaign takes players on a journey to reignite the Crossways to try and unlock the path back to humanity.
For those who haven’t seen this game, Nightingale is a PvE survival-crafting game where players have to discover, explore and survive in the Faewilds while working to overcome peculiar challenges set in a Victorian gaslamp fantasy world. The game allows players to play the game solo or team up with friends, allowing for a composition of up to five people. To explore new Realms, players will have to craft Realm Cards, as well as build their own estates to be able to survive in the aggressive world of Nightingale: Realms Rebuilt.
