Our current robot vacuum struggles mightily when it comes to our bathroom’s puny door threshold, attacking it from one angle and then another as if it were scaling Everest. With its latest vacuum, Roborock looks to make such epic battles a thing of the past.
At IFA 2024 in Berlin, Roborock is showcasing the Qrevo Curv, a new high-end robot vacuum and mop with the ability to hoist itself up to 10mm, extending its left, right, and “omni” wheels when it encounters different floor types, high-pile carpets, or even door thresholds that pose a challenge to standard robot vacs.
The Qrevo Curv’s AdaptiLift technology can adjust its three wheels independently, perfect for clearing standard door thresholds up to 3cm or “complex” double-layer thresholds as high as 4cm (1.57 inches).

Besides its ability to crest modest door thresholds, the Qrevo Curv boasts an anti-tangle brush system that incorporates dual short-bristle rollers with spiral blades that should make quick work of stubborn hair tangles.
We’ve seen such “active detangling” roller brushes from other robot vacuum makers in the past—namely Eufy—so we’re curious to see Roborock’s take on the technology.
Other features on the Qrevo Curv include an eye-popping 18,500 Pa of suction, an extendable side brush and right-side mop head, and the ability to wash its own mop heads with water heated up to 167-degree F.
The Curv rounds out its features—literally—with a revamped base station that offers a sleek, curved design.
Also available will be the Qrevo Edge, a version of the Curv that comes with identical features but a more familiar-looking base with squared corners.
Besides the Qrevo Curv, Roborock is also showing off the Qrevo Slim, a low-profile robot that pulls off 3D ToF (“Time of Flight”) navigation without the need of a navigation tower.

At just 8.2cm high, the Qrevo Slim should have an easier time scooting under sofas and other furniture than traditional tower-equipped LiDAR robots.
The Qrevo Slim serves up 11,000 Pa of suction, an extendable side brush and mop heads, and–like the Qrevo Curv–it can wash its own mop heads with hot water.
