Mobile publisher Sandsoft has signed three new games from developers in Latvia, Canada and Brazil as it expands further into the hybridcasual space.
The titles includes Kolka Games’ Wizario, Rogue Harbour Game Studio’s Potions & Spells, and Izyplay Game Studio’s Iza’s Supermarket.
Sandsoft said that it has “several more” games in testing and are scheduled to release in the coming months and is seeking more partnerships with developers to publish more titles.
The firm added that it is particularly interested in hybridcasual games “that have already been tested in the market and demonstrated promising early metrics” like growth potential and strong player engagement.
Moreover, Sandsoft’s publishing model supports game development through funding, product management, data, and growth marketing. However, funding is milestone-based, giving studios additional investment as games hit key performance metrics.
Continuous expansion
“Launching Wizario, Potions & Spells, and Iza’s Supermarket marks an exciting step in expanding our portfolio with fresh and engaging experiences for players worldwide,” said Sandsoft CEO David Fernandez.
“We’re proud to keep expanding our network of partner studios that share our vision for high-quality, mobile-first gaming.”
Sandsoft is headquartered in Saudi Arabia with offices in Spain, Finland, and China. Over the past year, it expanded its team by 35%, and opened a new studio in Barcelona.
The publisher has also partnered with NetEase and NEOM to strengthen the MENA games ecosystem, following the launch of Pocket Necromancer in October.
