SayGames will invest up to $30 million into hybridcasual game developers across the globe over the next three years as it eyes further growth in the genre.
The company is looking to expand its network and cultivate relationships with studios and has already allocated $10 million from the fund into five teams.
As well as investment, the publisher said it will also offer “industry expertise” to those studios it backs, including support in marketing, analytics, HR and recruitment.
The three pillars of a partnership
SayGames has has more than 100 mobile titles in its publishing portfolio and surpassed four billion cumulative downloads in 2023.
Among its most successful investments was My Perfect Hotel, a management simulator by Redux Games that has surpassed $100 million in revenue.
“Our vision is to create an ecosystem where studios can thrive and push the boundaries of hybridcasual gaming,” said SayGames CEO Yegor Vaikhanski.
“We see this investment program as an invitation to studios with bold ideas. Our goal is not only to provide resources but to share our knowledge, insights and tools so that our partners can achieve their full potential. The success of My Perfect Hotel reinforces our commitment to cultivating the next generation of high-performing mobile games.”
SayGames made our Top 50 Mobile Game Makers 2024 list earlit this year, having found continued success in hybridcasual after a shift from hypercasual.
