Revealed by Konami in 2022, Silent Hill f received a new cinematic trailer this week–though no release date was announced. Showing off a chilling small town in Japan and its lead protagonist, student Shimizu Hinako, it looks like another terrifying entry in the beloved franchise. If you’re excited about the chance to finally dive in, preorders are now open at select retailers. Silent Hill f will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC at launch.

This is the only version of Silent Hill f currently available for preorder. Both Amazon and Best Buy have opened preorders, and other retailers will likely follow suit. It includes the base game and any eligible retailer or publisher bonuses.
There’s still a lot we don’t know about the game, so expect another big announcement in the coming months. For now, we know that Silent Hill f will be the first game in the series to take place in Japan. Shimizu Hinako will find herself in a strange, unsettling version of her hometown of Ebisugaoka, and she’ll need to confront a series of twisted creatures and challenging puzzles if she wants to make it out alive.
In the meantime, consider checking out Silent Hill 2. The remade game is seeing a big price drop on PC, while the PS5 version is slightly discounted at Amazon and Walmart. Along with a massive graphical overhaul, the combat system has received tweaks to become more fluid and there are a variety of quality-of-life enhancements that make it a smoother experience for modern players.
