Movie is available for only $10 ahead of Black Friday 2023. This is a tremendous deal that’s sure to sell out, so we’d recommend snagging it as soon as possible.
The 4K Blu-ray edition also comes with a standard Blu-ray and digital copy–so even if you don’t care about physical movies, this is still a fantastic way to add it to your digital library (the digital version alone normally costs $20). If the 4K edition sells out, the standard Blu-ray with a digital copy is also available for $10.
In case you missed it when it first came out, the movie the story of two Brooklyn plumbers who are brothers, best friends, and struggling to get their plumbing business off the ground. It’s not long before the duo find themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom, where they unite with Princess Peach and her allies to take on the power-hungry villain, Bowser.
“More than just another cartoon comedy, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a surprisingly great action flick,” Phil Owen wrote in GameSpot’s The Super Mario Bros. film review. “Both pretty funny and also just plain pretty–this movie is a feast for the eyes.”
For the extras on the 4K Blu-ray, the film comes with a number of behind-the-scenes featurettes, a field guide to The Super Mario Bros. universe, leadership lessons from Peach’s voice actor Anya Taylor-Joy, and a Peaches music video. Like other UHD releases, this version also comes with a 1080p Blu-ray in case you don’t have a 4K display, and a digital code for the film so that you can watch on other devices.
