For those who preordered their iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini phones on Friday, November 6, it seems they may receive their bounty a bit early.
Apple Insider reports that some buyers are seeing their purchases updated with shipping information already, which indicates their phones are on their way to them. While it’s unlikely the phones will actually reach these customers until their release date of November 13, it’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Both phones were opened up for preorders for the first time ever on November 6, as purchasing options were made available through the online Apple Store. Though both phones are set to debut next week, it seems those early to lock in purchases are seeing the fruits of their labor.
In addition to customers reporting that their phones will arrive soon, some are seeing that their orders are simply preparing to ship for a delivery date of November 13. This may not mean that any customers receive their orders ahead of time, since Apple typically works to ensure early deliveries don’t tend to happen, but it’s still possible.
If you locked in an order for either the iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 12 mini, it’s worth checking the shipment status to see if it’s already updated for a potential surprise in the next few days.
