2019’s The Outer Worlds was a rock-solid sci-fi RPG, but it perhaps didn’t quite make the impact developer Obsidian had hoped. Well, the game is getting another turn in the spotlight, as Obsidian has announced The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will launch next month. This version of the game, only coming to PC and next-gen consoles, will include all previously-released DLC, as well as visual upgrades, better performance, quicker load times, and other hand-dandy features. Higher resolution graphics, a dynamic weather system, overhauled lighting and environments, improved performance and load times, enhanced details on characters, an increased level cap, and much more await spacers who bravely and boldly carve their path through the conspiratorial Halcyon colony.”
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will set you back a full $60, but again, you’re getting all the game’s DLC, including the “Murder on Eridanos” and “Peril on Gorgon” expansions, along with a variety of new features. That said, if you already own the game on PC, Xbox One, or PS4, you can upgrade to the new version for only $10.
