A new Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero mod was released online today promises to make the experience much smoother, at least in offline play.
The mod developed by Zetto, which can be downloaded for free from Nexus Mods, removes the 60 FPS cap in the PC version of the game, allowing the game to run at an unlocked framerate without speeding up the game. For the mod to work properly, the Sparking Zero UTOC Signature Bypass patch is required.
Considering how undemanding the Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO PC system requirements are, many players should be able to take advantage of this mod to improve the experience. Back in August, during Gamescom, I asked the game’s producer Jun Furutani about high refresh rate modes and was told that the team wanted to offer the same type of experience on all platforms, so all versions of the game run at 60 frames per second. During the same interview, Furutani-san also commented on balancing, play modes, character roster, and more.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO launches tomorrow, October 11th, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S worldwide. The game is already available for all those who purchase the game’s Deluxe Edition. You can learn more about the game by going here.
