STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 5 and uses core features like Lumen and Nanite, although it won’t feature any hardware ray tracing effects. In an interview with Wccftech at Gamescom, the developers explained those may be added later with a patch.
Today, NVIDIA released the latest GeForce Game Ready driver optimized for the game. They also confirmed that NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation will be included to boost frame rates on GeForce RTX GPUs. While we don’t know for sure, it’s a safe bet that Intel XeSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution will be available as well.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl launches on Wednesday, November 20, for PC and Xbox Series S|X. Game Pass subscribers will see it added to their library from day one.
