Today, NVIDIA released Game Ready driver version 537.13 for its GeForce graphics cards, optimized for Bethesda’s highly anticipated Starfield (due on September 6th, though early access begins on September 1st for owners of the Premium Edition) and for New Frontiers, the expansion of Rocketwerkz’s ICARUS. As usual, it can be downloaded via the official website or the GeForce Experience software.
It is great news for the many gamers awaiting Starfield, as other games sponsored by AMD didn’t even receive a dedicated Game Ready driver. Of course, it doesn’t offset the current lack of NVIDIA DLSS (and Intel XeSS).
Game Ready driver 537.13 isn’t all about Starfield, anyway. The driver changelog of fixed issues reveals that NVIDIA may have successfully fixed the degraded performance noticed in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart when using DirectStorage.

The following bugs remain still outstanding as of Game Ready driver 537.13:
[Halo Infinite] Significant performance drop is observed on Maxwell-based GPUs.
[DaVinci Resolve] This Game Ready driver implements a fix for creative application stability issues seen during heavy memory usage. We’ve observed some situations where this fix has resulted in performance degradation when running DaVinci Resolve. This will be addressed in an upcoming driver release.
The Starfield Game Ready driver also adds official G-SYNC Compatibility for the following displays:
