To celebrate Tales of Rebirth’s 20th anniversary since its original release on PlayStation 2, an English translation patch is now available for download.
The patch, which translates the entire game into English and adds some new features such as subtitles for animated movies, two additional movies that were removed from the PS2 version but added back into the game with the PSP release, battle subtitles, and more, was developed by Life Bottle Productions, a dedicated team of fans which previously released English translation patches for Tales of Destiny: Director’s Cut and Tales of Innocence R. You can download the patch by heading over to the team’s official website.
In case you want to see the fan-translated version of Tales of Rebirth in action and learn more about the huge amount of work required to get the patch out, you can check out the video below by Xenosanctum.
While a new entry in the Tales of series has yet to be announced, fans of the franchise who have not played older entries in the series have plenty to look forward to. In exactly one month, Tales of Graces f Remastered will be launched on PC and consoles and will be followed by other remasters that should be released consistently, as announced yesterday during a special 30th anniversary celebration livestream.
