The Outer Worlds 2 gameplay has been shown at The Game Awards, where a brand-new trailer was revealed and showcased some of the exploration and combat that you’ll be able to take part in when the game releases. Although the game hasn’t got a full release date just yet, it has been confirmed that the game is slated to release in 2025. This title is being developed and published by Obsidian Entertainment, which is shaping up to have a pretty stacked year already, with two major releases, this being one of them. Obsidian Entertainment will also see the release of Avowed, a game that takes place in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity. Avowed is set to release on 18 February 2025.
The Outer Worlds was a huge success and was first released in 2020. Since then, the game has seen the release of multiple DLCs, as well as an upgrade to the game, which provides cosmetics and extra content for those who want more of the action.
