Sony has announced the latest lineup of games coming to their PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers in August. This month, subscribers can jump into the Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Expansion, Yakuza spinoff Lost Judgment, new-release retro RPG Sea of Stars, and more. Meanwhile, Classic-tier subscribers get another dose of Ape Escape and MediEvil: Resurrection.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen (PS4, PS5)

From Wccftech’s review – “With its excellent detective story, extremely likable characters, and welcome improvements to combat and investigation mechanics, Lost Judgment won’t disappoint any fan of the original, of the Yakuza series, or anyone looking for a very mature story. The game doesn’t try to shake up the original formula, which may definitely put some players off, but this is hardly a problem when quality is as high as it is in the latest game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.”
Sea of Stars (PS4, PS5)
From Wccftech’s August games roundup – “There are a lot of old-school throwback RPGs out there, but Sea of Stars looks more promising than most. Coming from Sabotage Studio, who made the top-notch Ninja Gaiden homage The Messenger, Sea of Stars features rich 2D art and what looks to be a simple-yet-engaging combat system. Hopefully, the game has a quality story to match.”
