Marked down from $329, this iPad is now available on Amazon for just $299. A nearly 10% discount that saves you $30 is certainly worthwhile.
With this deal, $299 doesn’t just buy you any old tablet. You’ll be getting the latest model, the eighth generation iPad. And this particular iPad includes a 10.2-inch Retina display, an 8MP back camera, a 1.2MP FaceTime HD front camera with HDR, 32GB of storage, an A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine, support for the Apple Pencil, stereo speakers, Touch ID, and iPadOS 14.
Digital Trends reviewed the Apple iPad (2020) in September, and it received a fairly stellar review from us. We particularly liked its “colorful and clear” display, its battery life — which we considered “fantastic” due to its ” ‘never think about it’ longevity,” and that overall, this iPad seems “built to last.” There were a few issues, however, including: that the 32GB of storage isn’t really enough, that it still uses the old Lightning port to charge instead of the more modern USB-C, and that its speaker seems a bit “tinny.”
