Starfield and Phil Spencer fans unite! A modder released a new Starfield PC mod that spices up the standard flashlight.
We know Microsoft’s head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, is popular, but we didn’t see this coming. Then again, we’ve seen plenty of extraordinary mods already, so why not? Modder ‘Maquinaremos’ has released a small new mod for the PC version of Starfield that replaces the standard in-game flashlight with a flashlight projecting the head of Phil Spencer. This way, you can adore the Xbox boss while playing Bethesda’s new hit title anytime. Down below we’ve included a short video of this mod in action:
Starfield and Spencer fans interested in trying out this mod can download it from Nexusmods here. As always when using mods, be sure to follow the provided installation instructions. Those who are into modding might also want to try out the freshly-released Starfield Script Extender which allows for more advanced and easier modding. As covered earlier, there’s also the DLSS 3 Frame Generation mod and the DLSS/XeSS replacer mod. Starfield launches globally tomorrow for PC and Xbox Series X|S, but those owning the Premium or Constellation Editions of the game can already play the title via Early-Access. Here’s what we wrote about the game in our launch review:
“With an engaging story, well-developed characters and lore, and a huge amount of meaningful content, Starfield is one of Bethesda’s finest games and one of the best role-playing games released in the past few years”, our very own Francesco de Meo wrote. “The lack of seamless exploration and real innovation of the typical gameplay formula from the studio are noteworthy, but those willing to forego these issues will find a reactive and sprawling sci-fi universe to lose themselves in for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours.”
