Tilting Point, the creator of Spongebob games for Netflix, Narcos: Cartel Wars, and Star Trek Legends and Timelines is laying off 20% of its staff – estimated to be around 90 roles.
Speaking to Mobilegamer.biz, CEO Kevin Segalla said: “We have come to a point where we have had to make some difficult decisions in order to continue operating a healthy ongoing company. Unfortunately, this includes layoffs of some of our amazing colleagues in different parts of the organization. These layoffs could amount to as much as 20% of our global team.”
450 staff across seven offices
The firm currently employs an estimated 450 staff and has four US-based offices, (Boston, Los Angeles, New York and San Diego), two in Europe (Barcelona and Kyiv) and one in Korea (Seoul).
