Web3 gaming and Edtech ecosystem PiP World has raised $10 million in seed funding from fintech firm Exinity.
PiP World aims to address the global financial literacy gap, particularly in the UAE, where the literacy rate is 30.7%, below the global average.
Supported by Exinity, PiP World is combining video games, education, and Web3 technology to provide a platform for improving financial literacy.
The UAE-based startup’s key offerings include PiP Trader, a trading strategy game; PiP Academy, a gamified financial learning app; and StockRise, Roblox’s top stock simulator.
Empowering individuals
“This investment will enable us to expand our offerings and reach more users globally, particularly in the emerging markets where financial tools and knowledge are scarce,” said PiP World CEO and co-founder Saad Naja.
“Our goal is to empower individuals with the financial knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of today’s economy and financial markets, and this partnership with Exinity brings us one step closer to achieving that vision.”
Exinity managing partner Lex Webster added: “By integrating our robust financial and trading technologies with PiP World’s immersive gaming and learning environment, we are catalysing a paradigm shift in how financial literacy is perceived and attained.”
