Unity has revealed the ten winners of its 2025 Unity for Humanity Grant.
The grant celebrated developers from nine countries for creating socially impactful projects.
Winners will receive a share of Unity’s increased $600,000 Charitable Grant to support project development, prototyping, marketing, and distribution.
Projects were selected for how they tackle global challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as their vision, impact, inclusion, and viability.

- EmPRISE Lab, Cornell University – RCareWorld
Honourable mentions
Unity awarded three honorable mentions to Megapop’s Life Below, Birmingham City University’s ReelConnect, and Mr. iO Studios’ Sami.
It also introduced a new Student Award category, recognising Belfast-based startup Rephobia for its virtual reality therapy platform, alongside human-centric simulation RCareWorld by Cornell University’s Emprise Lab.
