Samsung Galaxy S21+ vs iPhone 12 Pro Max
The latest video doesn’t confirm anything new in terms of Galaxy S21+ features, but it does reveal how the redesigned camera bump compares to the iPhone 12 Pro Max implementation, which is one of the largest ones on the market.
The camera module itself, on the one hand, is around half the size in terms of width and only a little bit longer. The individual camera sensors seem to be around the same size, but Galaxy S21+ cameras ultimately appear smaller because Samsung hasn’t added metal rings around each one like Apple.
Looking at the sides of both devices corroborates recent leaks in regards to the metal frame. Whereas Apple has moved over to a completely flat frame, Samsung is retaining the rounded-edge design that’s still popular, which means the Galaxy S21+ should be more comfortable to hold that its iPhone counterpart.
However, the most important and noticeable difference between the two, at least when it comes to design, is arguably the display. The iPhone 12 Pro Max uses the same notch and bezels that were introduced on the 2017 iPhone X. Samsung, on the other hand, has adopted a much more futuristic look that consists of a small punch-hole for the selfie camera and razor-thin bezels.
The bezels are so thin on its new Galaxy S21 series that Samsung has apparently come up with a new name for them — Blade Bezel.
