Today, the iconic Virtua Fighter makes a return, with Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O now being available on Steam. The game also has a 20% discount on Steam right now to celebrate the release of the title. Shortly after this game was announced, a new Virtua Fighter was also announced. For Virtua Fighter, this is the first time it’s come to PC and it makes it pretty groundbreaking for those who have been eager to play it on PC and have never had the opportunity to do so until now. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O is based on Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown and will feature rollback netcode and new balance adjustments to the game for the first time in over 13 years. This is to provide a smoother experience for those who want to get stuck into the fighting action. Additionally, the game now has support of up to 60fps/4k resolution, so players get the highest fidelity while working to become the best fighter in the world.

While it doesn’t have a specific date yet, it’s set to be held during spring this year. Those who win the regional qualifiers will go on to face off at the Grand Final Tournament.
