Walmart is restocking the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X today. But it’ll only be available for consumers subscribed to the retailer’s perks program, Walmart+.
The sale will occur at 12 p.m. PST/ 3 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 18. Use the links below when the time arrives.
If you don’t have a Walmart+ account, you can consider signing up for one if you’ve struggled to nab a PS5 or Xbox Series X. A membership costs $12.95 a month or $98 a year and in return you also get free shipping on orders and other benefits.
Walmart will also restock the PS5 and Xbox Series X on Nov. 22 during its Black Friday sales event. However, the retailer will give Walmart+ members a four-hour head start on the sales.
We’re not a fan of retailers, including Best Buy and GameStop, selling the consoles behind a membership paywall. But on the plus side, it may improve your chances of snagging a PS5 or Xbox Series X when both products continue to be in high demand. If you do sign up for a Walmart+ account, make sure you avoid obtaining the free trial otherwise you likely won’t be eligible for the console sales. Instead, you’ll need to pay for a full membership to the Walmart+ program from the get go.
