Walmart is restocking more PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X units at 3 p.m. EST/ 12 p.m. PST today.
Twitter user “Wario64” spotted the upcoming restock. You can use these links below:
However, expect an uphill battle. The company restocked on Tuesday at the same time. Some customers reported successfully purchasing the product, but many others were left disappointed.
We suggest you keep refreshing the page even after 3 p.m. ET. Although Walmart may show the item sold out in the first seconds, we’ve heard reports from other users that the retailer will gradually release more stock as the minutes go on.
The other caveat is how the new PS5 and Xbox units will arrive after Christmas Day.
Walmart has been trying to prevent automated bots from buying up the stock. This includes using anti-bot techniques and auditing individual orders. Nevertheless, the retailer continues to see unprecedented traffic from consumers trying to obtain the next-generation consoles.
“What we’re seeing at the end of the year is a person with two mobile phones, a laptop and tablet, constantly refreshing the product pages,” a Walmart spokesperson told PCMag earlier this week. “Potentially, millions of people are all doing this at the same time.”
If you fail to buy the console from Walmart, hope is not all lost. We recommend you try a free inventory checker, which can immediately alert you about ongoing restocks for the PS5 and Xbox Series X from all the major retailers.
