Xur has arrived, and if you’re looking for some new weapons to complement the snazzy Mass Effect-inspired gear you’ve picked up recently, then it’s time to see what the arms dealer has to help you out with your killer fashion choices. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering Lord of Wolves. Hunters can pick up the Gwisin Vest armor; Titans can grab the Wormgod Caress gauntlets; and Warlocks can buy the Felwinter’s Helm helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

Exotic Armor
Gwisin Vest (Exotic Hunter armor)
Gwisin Vest used to be much better before it was nerfed, but it’s still a solid piece of Exotic armor to consider for your Hunter. Roving Assassin refunds more Super energy when you make kills with Spectral Blades before going into stealth, and for the stats, this armor has good resilience, discipline, and intellect. Everything else, including mobility, is on the low side, so you’ll need to look at some armor mods to balance out this Exotic.
- Mobility: 8
- Resilience: 19
- Recovery: 6
- Discipline: 14
- Intellect: 13
- Strength: 2
- Total: 62
Wormgod Caress (Exotic Titan gauntlets)
Wormgod Caress is a terrific Titan Exotic to consider if you’re running a Strand Banner of War build, as with the Burning Fists perk, you can cut through enemies and increase your survivability by a considerable margin. Pair it with a Monte Carlo, and you’ll be a lean-and-mean punch-machine on the battlefield. While most of the stats are low, the crucial resilience and strength stats are very high, making it a good choice for a melee-focused build.
- Mobility: 6
- Resilience: 23
- Recovery: 7
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 7
- Strength: 23
- Total: 68
Felwinter’s Helm (Exotic Warlock helmet)
Xur offered Felwinter’s Helm not too long ago, and in case you missed it, this is an Exotic focused on powering up your Warlock’s melee abilities. Powered melee final blows create a burst of energy that’ll weaken nearby enemies, and when facing more powerful foes, finishers and final blows will increase the radius and length of the weakening effect. The stats on this roll are wild, because everything except mobility and intellect are extremely low. Mobility is something Hunters focus on more regularly, but at least the intellect stat will help with Super cooldowns.
- Mobility: 29
- Resilience: 2
- Recovery: 2
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 29
- Strength: 2
- Total: 66
Exotic Weapons
Lord of Wolves (Exotic shotgun)
What if a shotgun operated like a pulse rifle? You’d have Lord of Wolves, an old favorite and a good option in a season where Solar weapons benefit from the seasonal artifact perks. Shrapnel Launcher fires a short burst of Solar rounds, and if you feel like burning through your ammo, you can hold down the reload button and switch to a full-auto mode with an increased rate of fire.
- Shrapnel Launcher
- Chambered Compensator
- Extended Mag
- Release the Wolves
- Composite Stock
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
Good rolls of Hawkmoon are hard to come by, and this week’s version of the Exotic hand cannon certainly isn’t one of them. It’s average at best with the Snapshot Sights perk–faster time to aim down sights–so feel free to give Hawkmoon a skip unless you really need one for your collection.
- Paracausal Shot
- Extended Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Snapshot Sights
- Smooth Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
