Two prominent insiders have claimed that the next Xbox Partner Preview event should be announced soon, probably at the beginning of the coming week. Nate the Hate and Shpeshal Nick have both said as much in the spawn of a few hours, lending credibility to the rumor. The last Xbox Partner Preview, which aired on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, was more than seven months ago. This time, the gap was longer, as the second-to-last XPP aired in late October 2023.
The March 2024 Xbox Partner Preview featured the following third-party news:
- Final Fantasy XIV’s release date trailer for the Xbox version that launched on March 21
- A gameplay trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, CAPCOM’s action strategy game that launched on July 19 and appeared on Game Pass from day one
- The game reveal of The Sinking City 2, a full-fledged horror sequel to Frogwares’ action/adventure game released in 2019
- The first details on the expansion pass for Persona 3 Reload
- The surprise release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy, which was finally released for consoles
- New gameplay footage for the upcoming action/adventure game Unknown 9: Awakening
- An in-depth gameplay trailer of Tales of Kenzera: Zau
- A gameplay trailer for The Alters, the upcoming sci-fi survival game by 11 Bit Studios
- The reveal of ‘creature saver game’ Creatures of Ava from Inverge Studios
- The reveal of Monster Jam Showdown
- The reveal of Sleight of Hand, an intriguing third-person stealth game
As to what might be included in the upcoming Xbox Partner Preview event, it’s anyone’s guess now. The insiders provided no concrete info. However, we could certainly see more of STALKER 2, which is certainly a title Microsoft has invested a lot in by securing a three-month console exclusive. GSC Game World’s long-awaited first-person shooter/survival horror game is set to launch on PC and Xbox Series S|X on November 20.
