Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2 continues to sell at an incredible rate. The latest report from GSD (reported by GamesIndustry) reveals that the game was once again the top-selling title when considering both digital and physical channels across the United Kingdom.
Even more impressive is the fact that Helldivers 2 is currently outpacing sales of Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Granted, it has certain advantages, such as the lower pricing and the availability on PC. At the same time, Spider-Man 2 is based on one of the most iconic entertainment franchises. Moreover, Helldivers 2 was made with a fraction of the $300 million budget spent on Insomniac’s latest game. The news may push Sony to accelerate its already aggressive plan to port PlayStation exclusives to the PC platform.
Elsewhere in the Top 10 Chart, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has debuted in third place, although it only had a few days since it launched on March 22. WWE 2K24 is currently outselling its predecessor by 8%, while Final Fantasy VII Rebirth registered a solid fifth place for a game only available on PlayStation 5.

A big surprise in the chart is the presence of two old Command & Conquer games. This is mainly due to the release of the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection on Steam alongside other EA classics. Ten of the C&C games are in the Top 20, pushing two major March releases (Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin and Nintendo’s Princess Peach: Showtime to #21 and #30, respectively.
By the way, the new Democratic Detonation Premium Warbond will be available in Helldivers 2 starting on Thursday, April 11.
